The course includes 9 modules with 30 tutorial videos with step-by-step instructional tutorials for formatting and creating your book cover and interior. It also includes guided tutorials on how to publish and list your book on Amazon.

DIY Course: This is a self-paced course that consists of 30 video lessons. It's up to you how long it takes you to complete each lesson and the steps required to design and publish your book. The course is designed so you literally design and publish your book right alongside the video lessons in the course. Depending on how much time you dedicate to your personalized design, average time frames could be anywhere from 4-8 weeks in total from edited, ready to publish draft to LIVE on Amazon.  

Allow about 6 weeks for the process so you have time to order printed copies, edit them, and make changes. For example, if you want your book to be on sale on Amazon December 1st, aim to have everything written and fully edited by October 20th. 

Done-For-You Service: Once you schedule your Design Kickoff Date, you'll be required to sign a design contract and complete your "Book Brand Assignment" a week before the date arrives. After your Design Kickoff Date, the estimated time for completion is 6 weeks.

To ensure you get the most out of this experience and keep moving forward in your publishing journey, these videos will be available for one year after your purchase date. During this time, you can view these videos as often as you want. After a year, your access to the content will expire.

DIY course: Once you enroll, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details for how to immediately access your course contents.

Done-for-you: Once you book your appointment call, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details and next steps for how to prepare for the consultation. On this call, we'll share the step by step process and go over everything you need to know and ensure your book is in great hands. 

No not at this time. The DIY course and done-for-you-services are for fully edited and ready to design manuscripts.

DIY Course: This course does not include editing. Ideally, all editing would be completed before you start the course so you're ready to complete the design and publishing steps. 

Done-For-You Service: Your book content needs to be 100% complete with no edits needed for design to take place, so be sure to choose a date that accounts for that.

The DIY option is great if you want to do it yourself but need step-by-step guidance and enjoy following tutorial videos.

Opt for Done-For-You if you'd prefer to not do any of it yourself but want to work with our trusted team of professionals to handle the entire process from start to finish.

DIY Course: Because we've intentionally kept this class at an extremely affordable price point, it is only available with a one-time payment of $397. 

Done-For-You Design: Here is how payments will be split up: 

1. You'll submit a $500, non-refundable deposit to reserve your Kick Off Date. This deposit is applied to your final project balance.
2. You will also receive invoices for the remainder of your project balance ($1497). These will be split into two payments and will be due based on your project timeline and dates: one on your Kick Off Date and the balance 4 weeks after (the estimated book completion timeline.) 

If throughout the project you need to add on additional styled pages, etc. those will be added to your final project invoice.

Because this course consists of pre-recorded videos so you can go at your own pace, you won't receive any specialized attention or feedback on your book from Havilah. In the videos however, Havilah will walk you through proven step-by-step methods and teach you everything she wishes she would've known when she published and marketed her first book.

We do not currently offer refunds on the DIY courses, whether or not you complete the course material within the 1-year time period. We also do not offer refunds on the Done-For-You Service at any point in the design or publishing process. However, we are fully confident in our ability to help you design and publish the book of your dreams.
